First we started out small and ended up with a 10’ x 12’ four pole palapa….. we totally love this. It adds so much to our back yard and all our friends ask so many questions about it the first time they see it… everyone is always in such awe. Our goal is to build a bar that will hold our BBQ and refrigerator. This will allow a lot of extra sitting area around the pool….and of course I’m sure my husband will be mounting his TV in there somehow! This will be his man palapa! Working with the guys from The Palapa Guy, they were awesome, so easy to work with, very accommodating and everything turned out just perfect…exactly like we wanted it. We had visited Rubio’s several times and always ate under the palapa there. Finally we just took the leap and put one in our own back yard and now we have our own piece of tropical paradise! They built a 16’ x 10’ two pole palapa in two days over the outside bar that required boring two holes through the concrete counter. It was one of the best purchases we ever made as it provided shade that allowed us to sit at the bar all summer. We were so impressed with their work that last year we had Eric and his crew come back and build a second palapa off the kitchen (on the west side of the house), replacing a old screen room. This was a four pole 22’ x 12’ palapa that again made the backyard by the pool more usable during the hot weather and shades the house from the sun. I also somehow managed to talk my husband into having The Palapa Guy’s build two permanent palapa umbrellas with tables into the pool deck. We no longer have to chase umbrellas after each microburst or heavy storm. We have nothing but regard for The Palapa Guy’s. Working with them was so easy. They were very accommodating and everything turned out perfect. Our backyard looks like an oasis at a fancy resort. Whenever we have a party, friends and neighbors have nothing but compliments about the work.Click Here

Eric and his crew made a beautiful, custom cover in just a day, and we were so pleased that we had them build a palapa umbrella to cover our homemade bar as well. They not only created a fantastic umbrella that gave our bar an exciting new look, they also helped us move the bar (very heavy!) across the yard to a nice, new location. Ian & Alice Capper, Phoenix AZWe purchased a palapa about 5 years ago in our former home from The Palapa Guy’s. It was a two pole custom palapa approx 18 x 9 wide to cover our B-B-Q and seating area. The palapa was the talk of the neighborhood and was one of our better purchases for the house at the time. The Palapa Guy’s were courteous, efficient and most importantly they understood our needs and their service was always first class. We had ourselves a new outside area that could be enjoyed by family and friends. We moved about 18 months ago into a bare landscaped yard and we knew immediately what one of our main garden projects was going to be but this one was going to be even bigger than before. This time I wanted a bar area near the pool with a bigger Palapa concept - The Palapa Guys came up trumps once again. We installed a 16’ x 14’ custom four pole Palapa and the guys were perfect as usual - considerate to our needs and even accommodated their work to align with our landscapers who were building the bar area and paving stones for our floor. They couldn’t have done a nicer job. We now have a new outside room in our backyard here in Phoenix and it saves us from going out for drinks because our new favorite place is right outside. We now have our very own tropical island retreat… ching, ching! Now all our family and friends love visiting even more than before.
